There were 2,180 students enrolled in Navarro ISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 9.4% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 50.1% of them were boys, and 49.9% were girls.

Data also shows that the majority of students were white, representing 52.2% of the Navarro ISD total enrollment.

Navarro ISD roughly covers schools within Guadalupe County with its main office in Seguin.

Among the four schools in Navarro ISD, Navarro Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of 702 students in the 2022-23 school year.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
