Kendall County schools enrollment of gifted and talented students is 882 students in the 2021-2022 school year

Test 09

Kendall County schools enrolled 882 students who were identified as being gifted and talented during the 2021-2022 school year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

This is a 7.3% decrease from the previous school year.

Of the 9,910 students enrolled in Kendall County schools, 8.9% of them were considered to be gifted and talented.

Kendall County enrolled the 51st highest number of gifted and talented students among Texas counties.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
