On Sunday, March 15, Travon Williams, a former Samuel Clemens High School standout, and his collegiate team, the St. Edward’s Hilltoppers, were defeated 70-56 by the Dallas Baptist Patriots during the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.
The matchup, which tipped off at 7:30 p.m. at Kenneth E. Burg Center, marked the Hilltoppers’ first tournament meeting with the Dallas Baptist Patriots.
