4.3% of Guadalupe County residents considered unemployed in 2021

Guadalupe County recorded an unemployment rate of 4.3% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 3,666 people out of the 169,477 living in Guadalupe County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Guadalupe County has decreased compared to the 4.4% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Guadalupe County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 5.3%.

Of the 80,784 people who had a job during that time, 1,672 were employed in the Armed Forces and 79,112 belonged to the civilian labor force.
