City of New Braunfels issued the following announcement on Dec. 9.
The City of New Braunfels has announced that pavement rehabilitation and sidewalk construction will begin
on S. Grant Ave., E. South Street, S. Central Ave., E. North Street, N. Grant Ave., N. Veramendi, N. Houston, E. Commerce Street, and E. Main St. The scope of work includes spot base repair, milling & overlay, and construction of sidewalks and curbs.
Work will begin December 14th, 2020 on S. Grant, E. South and S. Central. Work on the other areas will begin in the Spring of 2021 and all work is expected to be completed by Spring of 2022, with weather and other factors permitting.
This combination of street rehabilitation projects is part of the Citywide Street Improvement Program identified in Proposition 1 of the 2019 Bond.
