Two employees at New Braunfels Municipal Court have tested positive for COVID-19 prompting the temporary closure of that facility. Those employees, who are now quarantining at home, were last at work at Municipal Court on Monday, Oct. 19th and Wed. Oct. 21st.

As a precaution, all employees of New Braunfels Municipal Court are being asked to self-quarantine for the next several days.  Due to the use of a virtual court system the potential spread of the virus to those who are not employees of Municipal Court is very low.

Following a full sanitization of the facility, New Braunfels Municipal Court is tentatively scheduled to reopen on Wednesday Oct. 28th.  At that time, the court will continue with its ongoing modified hours of operation (Mon.-Fri. from 9am-4pm) and will continue to use the virtual court system.  For those that have business with the court, please email court@nbtexas.org.  For more information on the court’s hours of operation and how virtual court works, please visit nbtexas.org/municipalcourt.
