City of Fair Oaks Ranch issued the following announcement on Oct. 7.
On Monday, October 5, 2020 at approximately 2:12pm, the Fair Oaks Ranch Police Department received a 911 call reporting a two-vehicle crash involving a golf cart and large SUV that occurred at the 31000 block of Silver Spur Trail.
Fair Oaks Ranch Officers arrived on scene within a few minutes and found the female driver of the golf cart deceased. The driver of the SUV was not injured from the collision. Both parties have been identified as residents of Fair Oaks Ranch. At the request of her immediate family, the identity of the female is not being released at this time.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation by Fair Oaks Ranch Police with assistance from Texas Dept. of Public Safety. If anyone has any information regarding this accident please contact Det. Serold or Det. Green at 210-698-0990.
