City of New Braunfels issued the following announcement on Aug. 18.
Playground safety surfaces at two New Braunfels parks will be undergoing repairs in the coming days.
Between August 24th and September 4th the city’s contractor, Play & Park Structures, will be completing repairs and resurfacing the pour-in-place safety surface at three playgrounds in Landa Park and two playgrounds at Fischer Park. Those playgrounds will be closed intermittently as needed for those repairs, with efforts made to minimize the effect of the closures on park patrons.
