Selma Police Department issued the following announcement on July 25.
Its always a good idea to apply an Owner Applied Number (OAN) to your property. Serial numbers are great but its always wise to have a back up in case you don't remember the serial number. If your property gets stolen the OAN can be used to identify your property. They should be applied in the same general manner as a manufacturer applies their serial numbers so that it is very hard to remove.
