City of Garden Ridge issued the following announcement on July 27.
The City of Garden Ridge and the Garden Ridge Lions are co-sponsoring a blood drive on August 29th from 9am to 3pm at the Garden Ridge Community and Event Center. Right now, blood supply is low. Without blood on the shelves, patients in your community and all across South Texas won't have the blood they need to survive.
As a thank-you for your dedication to maintaining the blood supply in South Texas, they will test your donation for the antibody to COVID-19. The test is free and results will be mailed to you within 14 days. Visit SouthTexasBlood.org/testing for more information.
