City of Fair Oaks Ranch issued the following announcement on July 27.
The Texas Department of Transportation would like to advise that J3 Construction anticipates converting both frontage roads, between Balcones Creek(Bexar/Kendall County Line) and Fair Oaks Parkway, to ONE-WAY operation on Monday, August 3, 2020.
The conversion will be permanent. The existing eastbound exit ramp and existing westbound entrance ramp will remain in operation until the new ramps are completed and opened to traffic. Motorists will have to use the new underpass intersection at Balcones Creek Rd and the new turnaround bridge at Fair Oaks Parkway to maneuver from one side of the interstate to the other.
