City of New Braunfels issued the following announcement on July 21.
Councilmember Matthew Hoyt, the District 4 representative on New Braunfels City Council, will host a public forum on Wednesday, July 29th, at 6pm to discuss Public Works and Capital Programs construction projects in District 4.
Due to the ongoing response to COVID-19, this forum will be held virtually using the Zoom online video conference platform.
“In the interest of public safety, this public forum will be held virtually and I’m looking forward to using this new format in order to keep the residents of District 4 informed,” said Councilmember Hoyt.
During this meeting, City of New Braunfels Public Works Director Greg Malatek and Capital Programs Manager Jennifer Cain will join the conversation to discuss ongoing and upcoming projects in District 4, including road construction on Goodwin Lane. The forum will also include updates on other various city issues, as well as a general question and answer session.
“Though Public Works and Capital Programs construction projects are the main topics, I will be happy to discuss anything District 4 residents would like,” added Councilmember Hoyt.
