CITY OF SELMA: “Small Business Reinvestment Program”

City of Selma issued the following announcement on June 15.

At the June 11th City Council Meeting, the Mayor and City Council voted to authorize the City of Selma “Small Business Reinvestment Program (SBRP)”.  The SBRP is a local economic development program that grants up to $5,000 to eligible small businesses in Selma with less than 15 full-time employees that can demonstrate a loss of at least 20% in revenue or employment for the period beginning March 1, 2020 and ending December 31, 2020.  Eligible industries include retail, food and beverage, personal care, health/wellness, and small manufacturing businesses. National chains, financial institutions, professional services, apartment complexes, and non-profit organizations are not eligible to receive grant funding from this program.  Grants will be awarded on a first come, first served basis.
