City of Selma issued the following announcement on May 11.
As our restaurants slowly begin to open up according to state guidelines, we wanted to make sure everyone has enough time to show them some love. To help our Selma restaurants out, we are extending the “Eat Safe, Selma” contest through May 25th!
With modified dine-in now available at some restaurants, we will also be accepting receipts for in-house dining, in addition to curbside, to-go and delivery!
The top three contestants in the number of orders made (number of receipts) and the total amount purchased (before sales tax) at any combination of Selma restaurants May 25th will each win a gift card to their favorite restaurant in Selma!
Prize amounts for each category are: 1st Place - $100, 2nd Place - $75, and 3rd Place - $50.
As a bonus, the first-place contestant in each category will receive a proclamation from the Mayor and City Council at the June 11, 2020 City Council Meeting.
This contest is open to any person 18 years of age or older. Receipts must be received electronically no later than May 26th at 8:00am at wagee@ci.selma.tx.us. For questions, please email wagee@ci.selma.tx.us.
