City of Bulverde issued the following announcement on April 21.
The Big Trash Pick Up Event will continue as scheduled (Saturday, April 25, 2020 - 8AM to Noon) at the Bulverde City Hall parking lot with the following precautions in place:
COVID-19 Precautions
- Residents will queue in their vehicles at the edge of the City Hall parking lot with overflow out onto Cougar Bend.
- Residents will be required to show identification to the police officer at the front of the queue.
- Residents will be instructed to remain in their vehicles at all times.
- One vehicle will be admitted into the parking lot at a time.
- The vehicle will be unloaded by Waste Connections with help from City Staff. City Staff will maintain appropriate social distancing guidelines and personal protective equipment such as face coverings and gloves.
- The unloaded vehicle will exit the parking lot and the next vehicle will enter the parking lot.
