City of New Braunfels issued the following announcement on April 7
The City of New Braunfels has announced that California Boulevard from Lakeview Boulevard to Gazebo Circle will be closed to all traffic for a street mill and overlay.
The closure begins April 13, 2020 and ends April 30, 2020.
The California Boulevard improvements are part of the 2019 Bond Citywide Street Improvement Program. Work is expected to be completed within the indicated times, weather and other factors permitting. Drivers should expect detours in the area and may wish to seek an alternate route.
