CITY OF FAIR OAKS RANCH: Irrigation Systems Reminder!

Irrigation

City of Fair Oaks Ranch issued the following announcement on April 2

Just a friendly reminder as we begin to turn on the irrigation systems for the season….

Per City Ordinance Section 13.06.005, Irrigation of landscaped areas with hose-end sprinklers, soaker hoses, or automatic irrigation systems shall be limited to once a week between the hours of midnight to 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. to midnight on the authorized watering day according to the following schedule (No weekend watering).

Irrigation of landscaped areas is permitted at any time by means of a handheld hose with a positive cutoff device, or a faucet-filled bucket or watering can of five (5) gallons or less.

A change to the City Ordinance in 2013 removed the Drip System as being permitted at any time.
