CITY OF BULVERDE: First Case of COVID-19 Identified in Bulverde, City Council Issues Disaster Declaration

City of Bulverde issued the following announcement on March 25

 The City of Bulverde has received notification from Comal County that a confirmed case of COVID-19 has been identified within the City Limits of Bulverde. According to the area map provided by the County, the case occurred in the Oak Village North Neighborhood.  The map of identified cases, along with the latest COVID-19 related information for our area, can be viewed at the County’s COVID-19 information page, available by clicking here.

In response to public health crisis affecting our area, the City Council has confirmed and extended the Declaration of Local Disaster issued by Mayor Bill Krawietz last week. Additionally, at Council’s direction, Hair Salons, Nail Salons, Barbershops, and other businesses offering cosmetic services have been added to the list of business required to close in order to protect public health.  This supplemental order will go into effect at 11:59 p.m. Friday, March 27, 2020.  All of the documents related to this emergency, including the list of Restrictions on Public Gatherings and Commercial Activity, and the supplemental order related to Hair & Nail Salons, is available at a special document archive available at the link below.  Anyone having questions or needing further information about these measures is encouraged to contact the City online by clicking here.
