Donna Campbell, a Texas State Senator representing the 25th district since 2013, used her Twitter platform in late July 2025 to recognize several commemorative days and highlight issues of social importance.
On July 27, Campbell acknowledged parents and their contributions, stating, “Today we honor all parents for their love, sacrifice, and unwavering support in shaping the lives of their children. The following day, she marked Buffalo Soldiers Day with a tribute to African American military service members: “Today we honor Buffalo Soldiers Day, remembering the brave African American soldiers who served with courage and distinction in the United States Army. On July 30, Campbell turned attention to global efforts against human trafficking by posting: “Today we observe the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons to raise awareness and renew our commitment to ending human trafficking worldwide. Campbell has represented Texas’s 25th Senate district as a Republican since winning election in 2013.
