Donna Campbell, a Republican member of the Texas State Senate representing the 25th district since 2013, posted a series of statements on social media addressing both historical events and current legislative measures.
On October 20, 2025, Campbell commemorated a significant World War II anniversary. She wrote, “On this day in 1944, General Douglas MacArthur fulfilled his promise by returning to the Philippines, declaring, ‘I have returned.’ This moment symbolized hope, courage, and determination during World War II, inspiring millions and marking a turning point in the Pacific theater.”
Later that same day, she addressed public safety initiatives related to bail reform in Texas. In her post dated October 20, 2025, Campbell stated: “Public safety must always come first. This amendment strengthens our bail system to keep violent repeat offenders off the streets and protect Texas families. #txlege #Prop3”
The following day on October 21, 2025, Campbell turned her attention to infrastructure issues facing Texas communities. She wrote: “Reliable water infrastructure is critical for every community. This amendment helps repair aging systems and funds long-term solutions to secure Texas’ water future. #txlege #Prop4”
