Donna Campbell, a Texas State Senator representing the 25th district since 2013, recently posted a series of statements on her social media account addressing national remembrance, public safety, and state health policy.
On August 26, 2025, Campbell commemorated the anniversary of the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan. The following day, August 27, she addressed a recent shooting incident in Minneapolis involving children. Campbell stated, “Our thoughts and prayers are with the children who were injured or are recovering from surgery following the tragic shooting in Minneapolis. We also hold in our hearts the families who lost loved ones in this senseless act. May the Lord grant them strength and comfort during this”.
On August 28, Campbell shared her participation in a legislative event alongside Governor Greg Abbott and U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Robert Kennedy Jr., marking new health legislation for Texas.
