Carrie Isaac, a Republican member of the Texas House of Representatives for District 73, announced her bid for re-election and commented on legislative and university policies in a series of posts on November 18, 2025.

In her first post on November 18, Isaac stated, “I’m proud to share that I have officially filed for re-election to continue serving the great people of House District 73. Representing our communities in the Texas House has been one of the greatest honors of my life. Over these past years, we’ve strengthened public safety, cut”.

Later that day, she expressed support for Governor Greg Abbott’s actions and House Bill 45. On November 18, she wrote, “I want to thank Governor Abbott for taking a strong and unwavering stand to protect Texas. His leadership has been essential in confronting foreign extremist threats and safeguarding our communities. I am proud to support House Bill 45, which ensures that no foreign law —”.

In another post from November 18, Isaac criticized practices at the University of Texas System and UT Austin regarding diversity initiatives. She posted, “The @utsystem @UTAustin must stop outsourcing what it is prohibited from doing itself. OVG proudly advertises race and identity based employee groups, mandates bias training, pledges to “increase representation” based on race and ethnicity, and embeds DEI ideology into every”.

Isaac was elected to represent Texas’ 73rd House district in 2023 after succeeding Kyle Biedermann.
